Rip Rap

Rip rap is an excellent tool in battling shoreline erosion. The type of rip rap that we install is usually Class II or III gray quarried limestone rip rap. This rock is effective in defeating wave energy, which in turn helps protect your shoreline from erosion.

Limestone rip rap can be installed by itself or in front of a seawall. Permitting agencies sometimes require you to have rip rap if you are installing a new seawall.
